Mar 26, 2010
A call to action is the brief message on a web page, brochure, sell sheet, or other marketing material that tells the reader what you want them to do; aka, how you want them to take action. It is essential to have a call to action on every page of your site so that it encourages the reader to have more interaction with your business. Check out the list below for more info on calls to action.

Tell Your Audience What You Want
1. A Widespread Call - It's important to have a call to action in multiple places, especially high traffic areas of your site and on common marketing materials so that your audience will see them and act!2. Vary it up- Make sure to use a variety of wording in your calls to action so as not to sound robotic. Calls to action are meant to encourage interaction, so be personable.
3. Measure Success- Track your calls to action in analytics to measure their success or to see if wording or placment needs changing.
